Yoga classes with Kay in Harrogate
My name is Kay Manby and I took up yoga to help me cope when my husband was diagnosed with cancer, and it helped me immensely through his treatment and subsequently to deal with his loss.
Yoga literally transformed my life.
My mentor and teacher was, and still is, Amanda Latchmore and with her encouragement I trained to become a teacher with Yoga Campus qualifying in the summer of 2014.
I teach gentle, restorative yoga as well as vinyasa flow, which is best described as connecting breath to movement working in harmony with the student's needs and abilities. I aim to tailor the practice based on individual need.
I am also a Relax & Renew Trainer having studied with Judith Hanson Lasater, Ph.D., PT through Yoga Campus. I have also studied with Donna Farhi, internationally renowned yoga teacher and movement therapist, Eyal Chehanowski, and have completed the Yoga Nidra Foundation Course with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli acclaimed yoga therapist and author of Yoni Shakti. I have also studied the basics of Qigong with the acclaimed Mimi Kuo-Deemer and learnt to incorporate this ancient practice within the natural flow of some of my yoga classes.
Come and share some of the benefits with me, regardless of age, flexibility or concerns it is possible to feel the benefits of stretching, oiling joints, moving, breathing freely and ultimately relaxing.
